LET HUMANITY DIE?

The biggest problem of today's world is "If you are helping someone, he/she will not be thankful to you rather they will start judging you thinking "why is he helping me? Does he need something from me?". Instead of being thankful to the person who helps him or her, we start judging them without even knowing them But why? Should we stop helping others? let humanity die? Or we should change our perspective towards different events? Or let it go because it is not related to me?

People react only when it matters to them or related to them or when they are affected by it. Is the world full of selfish, mean, ignorant people?. I mean people are only worried about themselves and nothing else. Even some friends nowadays message you when they need something and you can help them with that. And if you can't help them with their problem, then all of sudden that friend turns into a stranger.

Not only friendship but also money has changed the whole context of the humanity and world. People run after money like they nothing else to live for. is it so? Yes, I know we need money to survive in this world but more than enough money makes people greedy. When you start earning money, then nothing else matters, right? Some people even forget their family when they start running for money. Earning more money also makes people egoistic. if you have more money is it necessary to get egoistic, or feel superior to people who earn money less than you. The purpose of earning is to remain happy, I believe so. Are you happy? Are you enjoying your life?

Is it necessary to get benefit from the one you are helping? is it necessary that the person who is helping you is expecting something from you? Well, NO. I mean we should not think whether this person will be able to return the favor or not. If you think you can help a stranger, go for it. Just don't expect anything. (Expectations lead to disappointment).

  1. I firmly believe that all relationships whether we talk about friendships or any other relationship is a 'give and take' relation. Even though, we are taught not to expect anything in return, human beings always tend to have some expectations from their fellow humans and when one is not able to fulfil those expectations, they are no more considered useful. I completely agree with you that 'expectations lead to disappointment' but it is also expectations which along with 'Hope' and 'Hardwork' makes a person great. If you have no expectations from yourself, you will have no motivation to achieve your goal. Even better when your loved ones have expectations from you, you strive to do better. But we should know which expectations are to be fulfilled and which ones are to be ignored. Also I would like to appreciate you for the very well written blog even after struggling with such a hectic schedule specially during a pandemic. Hats off, brother!
