Truly Rape?

Rape is the most disgusting inhuman act which has taken place in the past and continued in present as well by a few devil or evils of our society and the whole world. The biggest crime a person can ever commit is rape and that's way above murder for me. Rape is the biggest problem not only in our country but throughout the whole world. But it is still untalked and many rape victims don't raise voice against it because their family doesn't let them do even if they want to raise voice against it. Some family cares more about their prestige, reputation than their daughter life.

The biggest reason why is rape is increasing every day, every hour, every second in the whole world because the one who is sexually assaulted, harassed or raped and their voice is suppressed in the society whenever they raise voice against them. Because of this reason the rapist gets more courage to rape another girl. In this way, they develop courage, and they again rape and destroy her life and they will again do it same with another girl because the rapist knows that nothing is gonna happen to them. There is no strict law for raping a girl in our country and maximum punishment they can get is a few years of imprisonment for destroying someone's whole life. This needs to be changed.

In few days generally and sometimes regularly we hear "2-month baby was brutally raped by a group of people" or " A 7-year-old girl was raped by four men and was killed and left hanging on a tree." These are just a few examples of how cruel can people be. A lot of cases like this keep happening regularly in some parts of the world. 

In Nepal, On 27 July 2018, a girl named Nirmala Pant who was only 13 years old was brutally raped and killed in a sugarcane field, and still, the government has not found the real culprits behind this inhuman act. 2 years and still no update on her case. The government of Nepal a few days back solved a case of acid attack within a few days whereas this case is not still solved even after 2 years. Even after this a lot of rape happened in Nepal and still, the government has ignored. I don't think worse than this can happen. 

In India, Delhi, a girl named Nirbhaya was brutally gang-raped by men and killed in 2012 and the four convicts were hanged on 20 March 2020. I mean it took 8 years to the Indian government to pass the judgment on this case when all the four rapists were already arrested and under police custody for the last 7 years. So we can imagine how hard it is for the government to pass the decision again the rapist even if they have proof of their criminal act.

In Texas, a girl was raped and the dad of that girl chopped off the head of the person who raped her daughter immediately after he came to knew the rapist and he was set free by the Texas government. The immediate reaction to action. When rape happens then some of the victims commit suicide, some went to depression, have to go through a lot of mental stress, trauma, and not only the victim but the whole family goes through it. But they don't raise voice against this because they think what society will think about us and they don't even report this. In this way, most of the rape remains unheard of.  I don't believe how can a human even think of rape and raping a newly born child or a teenager or adult.

The number of rape is increasing day by day because the victims who raise voices are not being quite well supported by our government or their voice are being suppressed. If they raise voice then we public don't support them. In this way, we become responsible for this and give a chance to the rapist to destroy the lives of other people. The only way we can stop this is we all have to stand together, support, and raise voice against this. The government should wake up and deal with this as seriously as they do while asking for votes and make very very strict law and set example for other so that they don't even have guts to imagine about rape in their wildest dream. The victims should disclose the convicts to the public and set an example so that the other girl who is raped can raise voice and unmask the rapist and others will get enough courage thinking if they can confront them publicly then why I can't. In this way, One will set an example and it will be followed by another and in this way, the chain will be formed which can never be broken but become even stronger after each time. I believe this is the only way we can help the victims fight for their rights. 

Until and unless the victims who raise their voice against rape are well supported by our government and public till then they cannot get justice. Though it is slowly improving as people are getting aware this isn't enough We must stand together and unite if we want justice to be served. So must join our hands together to remove this inhuman act from our society and world.
