Education System of Nepal
In schools, college student's scores matter the most and knowledge counts nothing for them. every school and college run after grades but never after providing knowledge to their students. this is the biggest mistake that is done by Nepal. Because of this kind of system, most students also care about only scores and never focus on their skills and knowledge. according to school college students has only two options to remember the answer to the questions asked i.e either mug the answer given by your teacher or you should be enough talented to know it and you should be able to deliver it whenever your teacher asks you.
This is the wrong approach to make their students learn.
In many school colleges and even in some in some university students are provided with notes so that they can score good scores and they can help to uplift the standard of school and colleges. students who are given notes are more or less similar to parasites. A parasite is an organism that depends on others for his living. Similarly, students are also parasite because they depend on teacher notes to pass or score good grades in exams and not on their knowledge. when I was studying(still studying) in school one of my teachers used to call us parasite and what did she want to say most of them never understood it's value.
There is a famous quote on education and why students cheat to pass i.e" STUDENTS CHEAT IN EXAMS BECAUSE SCHOOL/COLLEGE VALUES GRADES MORE THAN KNOWLEDGE." The other problem in the education of Nepal is that they prefer mostly only theoretical study and very few practicals. students learn by performing practicals and hence they can grow their knowledge and everyone can proudly say that I have learned this and that because after performing practicals they will have knowledge about how it is done and works. In this way, we can increase our knowledge. that's what actual teaching and learning mean.
Always prefer practical study rather than theoretical and never depend on the teacher's note because notes are given to students who act like parasites and to limit your knowledge so be limitless and always prefer books over notes. Since then I always read books and notes both combined for exams and to study.
#STOP ACTING LIKE A PARASITE
I will be writing the next blog comparing how education i.e classes are being managed, pending class 12, and pending universities exam. in Nepal and other countries.
THANK YOU!!!
